Hi, I'm Michelle — photographer, mom, and firm believer that the bloopers make the best shots.
I started photographing families in Texas in 2016 and brought Lily & Aspen Photography to Colorado in 2018. Since then I've built a reputation for sessions that feel easy, relaxed, and genuinely fun, even for the family members who weren't so sure they wanted to be there.
My approach is simple: I follow your family's lead. I work with your energy, your kids' attention spans, and whatever Colorado gives us that day, and I find the moments in between the posed ones. The real ones. The ones you'll actually hang on your wall.
I'm based in Denver and shoot all across the metro : Commerce City, Highlands Ranch, Littleton, Golden, Brighton, Arvada, Lakewood, Morrison, Parker, Castle Rock, and beyond. Whether we're in the golden foothills, a favorite Denver park, or a studio when the occasion calls for it. Colorado gives us something beautiful to work with every single time.
I also speak Spanish, which means families who prefer to communicate in Spanish are always welcome here.
